If you’re wondering how often to book cleaning, I’d start with what everyday life looks like in your home. How quickly do the floors need attention? Are the bathrooms hard to keep up with? How much cleaning do you want to do between visits?

The right schedule should fit your home, your budget, and the amount of help you need. Here’s how I think about the options.

Weekly Cleaning: More Help With Everyday Upkeep

Weekly cleaning can be a good fit when your home gets a lot of use. Children, pets, working from home, and frequent visitors can all mean more cleaning to keep up with.

Having me come each week gives dust, pet hair, and everyday mess less time to build up. It can also take some pressure off your weekends if cleaning keeps landing at the bottom of your list.

Weekly service receives 15% off starting with your second visit.

You don’t need a busy household to choose weekly cleaning, either. Wanting more regular help is reason enough.

Every Two Weeks: A Balance of Help and Maintenance

Cleaning every two weeks can work well if you’re comfortable handling small tasks between visits but want regular help with the bathrooms, kitchen, dusting, and floors.

You might still wipe up spills, wash dishes, or vacuum a busy area between appointments. I take care of the booked cleaning tasks so you have less to catch up on yourself.

If you’re unsure where to start, this is a schedule I can help you consider based on how your home is currently holding up between cleans.

Every Four Weeks: Help Alongside Your Own Routine

A visit every four weeks can suit you if you keep up with cleaning yourself and want someone to take a more thorough pass through the home regularly.

There’s more time between appointments, so you’ll likely need to handle some bathroom cleaning, dusting, and floors along the way. How much depends on your household and how you like your home to feel.

Visits every four weeks are charged at the regular rate, without a recurring discount.

This can be a practical choice if you enjoy handling some of the cleaning or need to keep professional visits within a particular budget.

What I’d Consider Before Choosing

When I talk with you about a schedule, these are the things I’d want to know:

  • Pets: How much hair and tracked in dirt are you dealing with?
  • Daily use: Is someone home most of the day? Which rooms get the most use?
  • Your routine: What are you happy to clean yourself, and what keeps getting put off?
  • Your preferences: Do you like everything freshly cleaned often, or are you comfortable with more time between visits?
  • Your budget: What schedule feels manageable over time?

There isn’t one schedule that every household needs. A home with pets might do well every two weeks, while another needs weekly help. A quieter household may be comfortable with a visit every four weeks.

Tell me what’s bothering you between cleans, and I'll use that as our starting point.

Choose the Right First Visit

Before you settle into recurring cleaning, I'll look with you at what your home needs now.

If there’s buildup on baseboards, fixtures, or kitchen and bathroom surfaces, I may recommend a Signature Clean first. That gives me more time for those details before moving into regular upkeep.

If your home is already well maintained, a Refresh Clean may be enough. I can talk it through with you so your first appointment matches the work you want done.

You Can Adjust as You Go

Your first choice doesn’t have to be permanent. If you’re finding it hard to keep up between visits, let me know. If you need less help than expected, I can discuss spacing appointments farther apart.

I'll work out changes with you based on your needs and my availability.
