Deep Clean vs Regular Clean: What’s Actually Different?

A regular clean helps keep up with everyday dust and mess. A deep clean gives me more time to work on buildup and details that need extra attention. Here’s how that looks with my services.

What My Refresh Clean Covers

My Refresh Clean is for homes that are already being maintained and need help staying that way.

It includes the everyday essentials:

• Cleaning kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
• Dusting accessible surfaces.
• Cleaning mirrors.
• Vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Taking out trash.
• Light general tidying.

Refresh Clean starts at $129 for a studio, or $159 for one bedroom and one bathroom, with pricing based on your home and selected extras. Weekly visits receive 15% off, and visits every two weeks receive 10% off, starting with your second visit. Visits every four weeks remain at the regular rate.

If things are generally under control but you’d love someone to take the cleaning off your list, this can be a good fit.

What My Signature Clean Adds

My Signature Clean includes the Refresh Clean tasks, with more attention to details and built up grime.

That includes:

• Hand wiping baseboards and door frames.
• Cleaning cabinet fronts.
• Cleaning door frames and light switches.
• Cleaning window sills and detailing window tracks.
• Giving kitchen and bathroom buildup extra attention.

Window track detailing is included. Interior window glass cleaning is separate and can be added for $7 per window.

This is the option I’d consider when the everyday cleaning has been getting done, but the edges, corners, and harder to tackle areas need some time.

How to Choose the Right Clean

I look at the condition of your home and what you want done, rather than just how long it’s been since your last professional cleaning.

A Refresh Clean may be enough if you’ve been keeping up with things and mainly need help with the usual tasks.

A Signature Clean may fit better if you’re noticing buildup around fixtures, dusty baseboards, or areas that haven’t had attention in a while.

If you’re starting recurring service, I can talk with you about whether a more detailed first visit would help. You don’t automatically need the biggest package just because you’re a new client.

And you never need to apologize if things have fallen behind. Knowing what needs attention helps me plan the right amount of work.

What About Moving In or Out?

If you’re preparing a home for a move, take a look at my Full Care Clean. It adds detailed trim, closet shelves, the inside of the refrigerator and microwave, and the more thorough cleaning the home may need. Inside cabinets and the inside of the oven can be added on.

Let me know whether the home will be empty and which areas you want cleaned. That helps me choose the right service and plan access to those spaces.

Why the First Visit Can Need More Attention

If there’s older buildup to work through, a more detailed first visit gives me time to address it. After that, regular visits can focus on keeping your home at that level.

It also gives me a chance to talk with you about your preferences. Maybe the bathroom is your biggest priority, or you really notice dust on the baseboards. I want to know what makes a clean feel finished to you.
